As a parent, there will always be sacrifices. Since coparenting, I learned I can’t do what’s best for me anymore. I have to always think about what’s best for my child regardless of how I feel about her dad. Even if I feel wronged, I will never allow my feelings to cause me to act out of character because feelings are temporary. I’ve been a parent for almost three years, and I can say becoming a mother has changed the way I see God.
God loves us. I could never imagine sending my only child somewhere knowing that I’m sending her there to suffer and eventually lose her life for people who don’t care. God really loves us. He had to watch this happen and also watch the very people He loved, hate His son who was saving them. Jesus loves us so much so that He walked around and experienced the same human experiences that we encounter today except worse. He never complained, he always prayed to the Father. He was the living word. He showed us how to live and eventually he died for us.
Jesus Came to Save the World
44 And Jesus cried out and said, “Whoever believes in me, believes not in me but in him who sent me. 45 And whoever sees me sees him who sent me. 46 I have come into the world as light, so that whoever believes in me may not remain in darkness. 47 If anyone hears my words and does not keep them, I do not judge him; for I did not come to judge the world but to save the world. John 12:44-47
Jesus came into the world and sacrificed himself to save our souls. When we wake up and realize that there is something greater than this life, we will realize how meaningless everything in this life is. Why do we worry ourselves about things we don’t have in this world? We were taught this by the world and not the Word of God. Who are you learning from? When we realize that sin is not who a person is, we will learn to love people. Christians are not called to be judges, we are called to love people and spread the word of God. Be content where you are because when you have God, you have all you need. Circumstances are always temporary, don’t let the enemy get in your head and cause you to focus on your circumstances. Circumstances are not truth. Focus on the truth. What does God say about you. and what does He say about the decisions you’re making?
For the law was given through Moses, but God’s unfailing love and faithfulness came through Jesus Christ. 18No one has ever seen God. But the unique One, who is himself God,g is near to the Father’s heart. He has revealed God to us. John 1:17-18
He is faithful and He will never leave or forsake you. There’s grace for your mistakes.
Until next time ..
A song. Happy Friday !
