Life is Short

If I’m being honest, life gets hard. Jesus tells us in the Bible that we will face troubles in this world, so we are not surprised when trouble comes.

The other day, I was sitting in my living room floor in prayer and God brought my great aunt to mind. I haven’t talked to her in maybe a year. Just a little backstory my great Aunt lived with my great granny before she passed in January. I’m saying great and some may think it’s no big deal since most people barely know their great grand parents. However, I never met my grandmother because she passed when my dad was a teenager, so my great granny was my granny. I lived with them for a time when I was younger. So needless to say we were close when I was younger.

So, after God brought her to my mind, I prayed and then I felt the Spirit tell me to call her and I did. She asked why I didn’t go to the funeral because my granny loved me. Truth be told I found out she passed by someone posting her after the funeral. My Aunt said that she told my dad to tell me, however she didn’t know that my dad and I haven’t spoken in almost a year because I fell out with his wife.

After the call, I felt God speaking to me. He reminded me of how life is so short. We never know when it is our time. In that moment, I prayed healing over my family and that the spirit of separation is lifted off of us.

Maybe a couple days later, my dad called me. We spoke and I assured him that all is forgiven. I’m saying all of this to say that life is short, and tomorrow isn’t promised. So, love today! Pray today! Choose God today! We never know when it is our time to leave, so choose love now!

I love y’all and I’m here for you ❤️

Happy Sunday
