Hey Family

Recently, I have been navigating life. As I have been walking with God, I have felt attacked on all sides. So much so, that today I felt cornered with issues and problems. At first, I thought to myself that this is defeating.

But, I felt in my spirit the power of God. I started to speak to my flesh in that moment. If we allow the enemy to work in our minds, he will eventually take over. I had to stop my thoughts in that moment by praising God. I understand that God is bigger than my problems. I understand that God already has a plan to solve all of these problems. Even though I don’t see how I will get out of all these issues, I believe that God has already made a way.

The problem is that I have to force my flesh to catch up with my faith. My flesh is reminding me of the on going divorce, the constant bills, and the new responsibilities. However, I believe that God is in this.

God would not bring me this far to leave me here. This makes me think of Moses before the Red Sea parted. It looked like they were trapped. The enemy was behind them and the water was in front of them. In that moment, the people thought it was over. But God came through and made a way where they thought there was no way.

In the moment of trouble, it feels as if there is no way. However, we have to remember that we serve a God who is a way maker. Might of a fact, He is the way. I just want to encourage you to speak life over your situation. You are not alone, God is with you. This walk can sometimes feel lonely, but I had to understand that God isolates us for a reason. We are not alone, He is with us even in the wee hours of the night. Don’t be discouraged, God is with you.
