What is your career plan?
My career plan is to be present in whatever career God has called me to. I’m learning that everything has a purpose, even my day to day job God has blessed me with. My plan is to follow God’s plan.

I remember a conversation with Sonny, a youth pastor. I was complaining that I didn’t know what I was going to do, there were to many options. He said, “Not all who wander are lost, but a lot of them are.” Like a lot of things at the time, I didn’t understand. My solution was the Army, go do something for a few years that I couldn’t just walk away from.
A lot of us miss the finger on our hearts because we’re waiting to feel a push.
I understand that. I was in the Marine Corps for five years and I believe I was called there for a time because the recruiter told me he wasn’t going to call me back because I had scored so low on the practice asvab test, but he said something told him to call me and the rest was history. Honestly, I’ve ignored God’s voice so much because I was waiting for a sign or some big gesture, not realizing he’s been speaking all along I just haven’t been quiet or still enough to listen and obey.
