Legacy of Unwavering Faith: Nurturing Future Generations in God’s Word

Daily writing prompt
What is the legacy you want to leave behind?

Something that I think about a lot is the impact that I will leave behind on my child’s life. Sure, I can leave money and possessions, but everything on this earth is meaningless. All the money in the world will never amount to the peace given only from God.

What I want to leave with my child and future children is far more precious than silver and gold. I want my children to see how my feet are planted in The Word of God. I want them to see how I have peace when my world is upside down, when nothing in life seems to be going right, when people walk out of my life, when I don’t know what’s next for me, I still stand firm on my faith with a peace that no one can understand.

I want to raise my children to be unshakable. I want them to be so planted in God’s word that people may think they are delusional for being able to go through life troubles with a smile on their faces.

I want to break every generational curse that has been on my family and show them that in our weakness, He is strong. We don’t have to be like the world and harden our hearts after a heartbreak. We don’t have to cheat or fight our way to the top. God is working on our behalf. God is showing me all I have to do is obey him and stand firm on his word. No word will return to Him void. If God said it then it’s already done.

My family will be built on the rock. My family will be unshakable generation after generation. God is moving even when I don’t see it, I understand this. And for this reason, my children will know they will forever have help. Their help will come from the Lord. I have faith in God to know that they will be okay when I leave this earth. And I am thankful and content in knowing that. God has trusted me with his children and so I know I am meant to be their mother. I was built for this.

Happy Tuesday!!!
Until Next Time …
